On the first part, if you have seen my homepage you have an idea what some of my interests are. Some pages will be linked in more appropriate places (i.e. topically related pages), but ones of overwhelming general value could make it to either just the Hot Link list or possibly in both places. The second part is more tricky. There are certain sites I WILL NOT link to! I am not a member of 'the latest and greatest' club which says your page MUST take 2 hours to load to show some dumb junk. On the technical side I will do my best to avoid linking sites with the following (barring some super exceptional content I may allow one or two tiny things to slip by). NO
Basically if it is a great site with no technology to slow down a visitor or collect data on him or her, then there is a chance. Note that this is not meant to be a total web wide index, just a few neat sites for my visitors! I will NEVER include a commercial, pro-political or pro-religious site in my hot links. SELECT commercial sites MAY be included in the relevant topical areas (chocolate companies under chocolate and language teaching materials under EFL come to mind.) Likewise I will include certain organizations which charge dues of which I am or was a member (Mensa and nudist groups come to mind here). Again all those would be under their related topical areas. I MAY include satire and anti- articles against government and religion - any and every government and religion! I am not adverse to nudity, sexual content or what might be defined by many as "sick, gross, disgusting, without redeeming social merit.' However most of the nude photos will of course be NATURIST in nature and not sexual. As of this writing I do not have any 'sexy stuff' or what is called 'pornography' today (Old Greek meaning - writing about prostitutes). That does not mean some day I won't but it would tend to be in areas of "my interests and kinks" as they say J As for the wierd and sick stuff... well this page does not intend to become a specialist in it... but IF something catches my eye I won't bar it for that reason alone.As for the legal BULL... dictators come and go and laws vary from place to place and time to time. I personally do not care what some sick old man in a rich fancy house 2,000 miles away cares. All I CAN SAY is that what I put on my site is what I feel is right. If some visitor doesn't like it, they go to someone else's site. On that note if a webmaster or visitor knows a neat site, let me know. If I linked to your site and you do NOT wish a link, likewise let me and and I will remove it at the next update. Safe surfing and hope you enjoy my site.
