Nick's travel Guide to the PhilippinesNick's Travels
a variety of information, graphics and links on the Philippines
This page is UNDER CONSTRUCTION. Please be patient and check back in the future.
I have lost track of the countries I have been in, something just over 25 I think. Most of them with no stamps in a passport, so I often honestly can't remember. How do you get to travel to many foreign countries without a passport, you ask? Raise your right hand and say after me: I state your full name , do solemnly swear to uphold the constitution of the United States, to... That's right, you join the Army or Navy (or another branch of the armed forces). As I was starting to say, I have been in many countries, and I have to say the people there are among the friendliest in the world (perhaps tied with the Thais - pardon the homophonic tongue twister!)
Anyway, the Navy first brought me to the Philippines, many times, and I made friends and have since returned on my own once. So, I hope to do more justice to this page when I have a little more time.
One of my favorite places in all of the Philippines is Puerto Galera. A great place to lay in the sun, do water sports, get your SCUBA diving license, do some photography (want to see some samples of this place? Click here.)
