Explanation and discussion:
Adverbs are similar to adjectives in some ways, in that they modify other words. However, they differ in both form and function.
Adverbs can include:
adverbs of frequency (time markers),
prepositional phrases of location,
and generally words that end in -ly.
Likewise, adverbs are different in that they answer the questions:
Where?
When
Why?
How?
