Well, we just had two pretty hard weeks, so how about an easy one. Aiming at my youngest 'adult student', this week let's study words about school and tests.

Ace(d), Max(ed) Get a very high or perfect score on a test.
Pass(ed) Successfully complete a class or test.
Just scraped by Just barely pass a test or class.
Bomb(ed) Do poorly or fail a test.
Fail(ed), Flunk(ed) Get below a passing grade on a test, or in a class.
A+, A, A-, B, C, D, F Letter grades, in many schools 90-100 is an 'A', 80-89 is a 'B', etc., and below 60 is an 'F'.
Freshman 9th Grade High School or 1st year college.
Sophomore 10th Grade High School or 2nd year college.
Junior 11th Grade High School or 3rd year college.
Senior 12th Grade High School or 4th year college.
